We are a volunteer run, heated, open air swimming pool. We open from the end of May to early September and welcome swimmers for fun sessions, adult only swims, school swim lessons, private hire and events. We have a qualified team of lifeguards who are on duty for every session.

While our lifeguards are paid roles, everyone else involved in keeping the pool running is a volunteer. If you’re able to help at the pool, please get in touch at info@shapswimmingpool.co.uk – we’d love to have you join our committee team, or become one of our regular volunteers in the shop or as part of the pool maintenance team.

Full training will be given and as a thank you to everyone who helps, we offer our volunteers a season ticket discount so you can enjoy the pool too!
