Shap Swimming Pool is a volunteer-run project for our
local community and at just under 1,000 ft is England's
highest heated open air swimming pool!
We're on the edge of the Lake District
where there are fantastic views to be enjoyed whilst having a
dip!
We are currently closed for the season but will reopen
in May 2012

Our fully enclosed pool is 20 metres long and is 1.5 metres
at the deep end. We also have a small paddling pool, benches
and picnic tables around the edges and a small shop serving
refreshments. A qualified lifeguard is also on duty at all
times.
